Natur Franz sells Atlantic sea salt, organic cacao and ginger shots in Germany. Klaus sent photos of the products and a storyline for each ad. Everything else was made from those: every scene generated with AI, then edited, animated and scored. No crew was booked and no product was shipped anywhere.

Natur Franz is Klaus Bacherle's natural food brand from Germany: hand-harvested Celtic sea salt from the Breton coast, organic cacao, and ginger shots made with organic ginger from Peru. These three ads were made for three of its products.

What was asked

Three ads, one per product: Pur Atlantik Celtic sea salt, Bio Kakao organic cacao and the Ingwer Shot Energy. Klaus wrote the storyline for each one himself and sent it with photos of the jars. That was the whole handover. There was no footage, no crew and no shoot day.

The challenge

Following someone else's storyline one to one is harder than inventing your own. Every scene he described had to appear the way he described it, with jars that look exactly like his: the right label, the right lid, the right colour inside. And the ginger shot needed a person on screen, in a believable gym, holding the actual jar.
